Count your blessings
I just returned from one of the hardest emotional trips in my life. Kenny and I spent a week in the Okanagan visiting Brian's side of the family; I felt it was important before we made our way to Ottawa.
Brian and I went every year, It was my first time there in 18 years without him. In every moment I missed his presence.
The first afternoon we settled into his dad's place a rainbow appeared. The night before we left a double rainbow appeared.
If you have been following my blogs you know a monumental rainbow was present the morning Brian passed.
During challenging times, it is not easy to embrace your blessings but we all know doing so makes a difference.
The divine timing of these rainbows reminded me to embrace my blessings and that all is OK. For that I am grateful.
Perhaps you are on one of the hardest emotional trips of your life, where ever life has taken you, know you have blessings.
Finding the courage to make your life an ongoing blessing is one of our greatest opportunities.
Daily, count your blessings, speak your blessings, share your blessings.
Making your life an ongoing blessing will make you a blessing with every life you touch. That alone is worth mustering up the courage.
