Trust in the purpose and magic of new beginnings.
Tuesday I said bye to my son who began his first adventure of driving across Canada with his grandparents - on his way to our new home in Ottawa. Wednesday I spent my last night in our home of nine years. Thursday I walked away from our community and my life in Point Grey, Vancouver. Friday we gave the keys to the new homeowners. This weekend I spent time with dear friends I will miss dearly.
It was emotional. Saying goodbye is hard. Letting go is hard. Change after loss is hard.
I love Vancouver. Twenty-seven years of my life I spent here.
Vancouver is where I began my journey of self-love and personal growth.
Vancouver is where I discovered my passion and started my coaching business. Vancouver is where I met my life partner and father of my child. Vancouver is where I became a mother. Vancouver is where I have cultivated deep meaningful friendships.
Vancouver is a city that nurtures my soul.
I will miss Vancouver.
I embrace and cherish all that this city has given me.
As I prepare to hop on a plane to begin a new chapter for my son and I, I embrace the emotions that go with letting go and use it to fuel me to open up to the magic and purpose of new beginnings. I anticipate and revel in wonder of what the next twenty-seven years may bring.
This is life.
Let's trust in this cycle of life and embrace the purpose and magic in new beginnings.
P.S Summer holidays.......
Before I start our new chapter in Ottawa I will be meeting my son, immediate family and relatives in Northern Ontario for some lakeside living. I will be unplugging from social media and reconnecting once we settled into our new dwellings in Ottawa.
May your summer fun renew you and your new beginnings inspire you.
