No matter what kind of loss, I am sure I can speak for most, it forces one to reflect and reevaluate life.

Loss changed everything for me. Everything as I knew it has changed. It is scary. I did not choose it but I am embarking on a new chapter in my life and doing my best to consciously create the best life for Kenny and I.

The power of "I love you"

The power of "I love you"

I heard those words just when I needed them.

We are now back from our holidays and we are preparing to relocate; a move that has been forced upon us because of loss. Waves of grief are more frequent once again, my heartaches and no matter how much I try to limit and manage feeling stressed, stress is present but today my heart expands.

Kenny and I have an arrangement that he can sleep with me once a week. We both treasure this special mom and son bonding. Last night he woke up in the middle of the night and whispered,"mommy, mommy", I replied "yes Kenny"  and he simply said "I love you" and gave a snuggle and that was it, he went back to sleep. 🙏💛

I miss those sweet whispers in the middle of the night.

I miss feeling loved and adored.

My heart expands that it is showing up now in my life through my son.

I love you.

They are powerful words. There is no replacement for hearing those three precious words.

Are you someone that says these words often?

Choose someone in your life that you love and tell them today.  It is a simple, powerful way to make a big difference.

Thank you Kenny.

I love you so so so so so much. ❤🙏
